After the drama ended in 1999, the projects George chose earned him a lot more money contributing to the leading man’s net worth of $500 million. Yet Clooney’s highest career earnings came from his blockbuster movie Ocean’s Eleven as he walked away with a $20 million paycheck.

SANJAY GUPTA: $12 MILLION

Dr. Sanjay Gupta is the new doc taking over screens as CNN’s medical correspondent. He is a neurosurgeon who also serves as the chief of his trade at the  Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta. Besides his work as a medical correspondent, he has also hosted several other shows.

These include a weekly town hall type show with Anderson Cooper, “Changing Life,” a six-part mini-series, and  “Sanjay Gupta MD,” a medical new series that won him multiple Emmy Awards. He is also an author who has published several books, including 2021’s “Keep Sharp: Build a Better Brain at Any Age.”

O. J. Simpson: $3 Million

O.J. Simpson, dubbed “The Juice,” was convicted for a robbery/kidnapping incident in Las Vegas. On top of that, he was also a suspect in the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend, Ronald Goldman. He was found financially accountable for the murder of the latter.

Simpson saw his riches dwindle to $3 million. After all, just the Ron Goldman civil case alone resulted in the former football player paying $33.5 million in damages to the Goldman family. Today Simpson’s primary source of income is a fully-funded NFL pension.
