Dubbed “The First Lady of Motorsports” Linda Vaughn has made considerable advances in the area of motorsports in America. She has competed in many racing series including NASCAR, Indy Car, and NHYA. For her accomplishments, she was inducted into the Motorsports Hall of Fame in 2019.
She formed a collaborative relationship with Hurst, a company that manufactured and sold auto parts. Her work for Hurst led to it becoming one of the leading companies in the racing world. It earned her the moniker “Miss Hurst Golden Shifter.” Wives and girlfriends of racers were jealous of her closeness to their men, but she has maintained that she would not be a part of any extramarital relations.
