Gabrielle Giffords – $1.49 Million, Arizona
Gabrielle “Gabby” Giffords is a former member of the House of Representatives who made it to the news in 2011. At the time, she was shot in the head during a mass shooting/assassination attempt in Tucson, Arizona, from which she fortunately recovered. Since then, she’s become a vocal gun control advocate.
Despite the trauma, Giffords still resides in Tucson, Arizona, where she shares a ten-room, 4,500-square-foot home with her husband Mark Kelly, a retired astronaut. Located in the El Canto neighborhood, this fine property cost Giffords and Kelly a reported $1.49 million, roughly five years after being acquired for $750K by the previous owner.
