For four drama-filled years, he sat on his iron throne, captivating us with his deliciously malevolent ways. Then, pulling a plot twist worthy of the series itself, he took a hiatus from Hollywood.
In 2021, Gleeson resurfaced with “Out of Her Mind” and took the lead in the indie flick “Rebecca’s Boyfriend.” He’s also been sprinkling some philanthropic fairy dust. He co-founded Collapsing Horse, a Dublin-based theater company, balancing treading the boards with doing good deeds.
