The Horse Whose Refusal To Give Birth Got Her Owner In Trouble With The Police
This is the story of how a horse and her refusal to give birth turned into a criminal investigation. Farmer Ben loved horses and had a mare named Felicia. He wanted another one, but buying a new one would be too expensive, so when his horse got pregnant, he was over the moon. A new foal would mean more money if it was a ‘good’ horse.
Ben was very excited when the day was near, but something was wrong. Felicia refused to give birth! So he reached out for professional help, but after the ultrasound, the vet immediately called the police, and that’s how the investigation began.
The Ultrasound
Ben couldn’t wait to find out if she got pregnant but there had to be a waiting period before true results could be known. After two weeks of the procedure, he called the vet to see if she was really pregnant. The doctor took her ultrasound and revealed that she was, in fact, pregnant. Ben was very happy as the horse and her foal were fine and healthy.
The pregnancy would not be much of a problem. However, things didn’t go as smoothly as Ben had thought. At first, Felicia wasn’t able to sleep as much as she did before her pregnancy, but on top of that Ben was not able to walk with her in her stables anymore.
