Poitier and Shimkus had two children together, including the lovely Sydney Tamiia Poitier, who’s managed to become an accomplished film/TV actress. She’s one of the 2018 American psychological thriller series Homecoming stars, and she’s reportedly bought a $2.5 million home from singer Natasha Beningfield in late 2020.
