Hollywood’s Biggest Regrets! 40+ Huge Movie Roles Originally Meant For Another Actor

Javier Bardem – Danny Witwer (Minority Report)

Javier Bardem may now be an Oscar-winning Spanish actor, but there is one role he regrets not being able to take. He would have been the one to play Danny Witwer in Steven Spielberg’s 2002 film “Minority Report” instead of Colin Farell, but he declined the offer.

Javier, known for his impressive performances in both blockbusters and foreign films, explained that at the time, he was still working on his English and felt hesitant about taking on a foreign-language project. Despite rejecting the opportunity, he continued working hard to improve his English accent, which paid off in subsequent roles, like his award-winning performance in “No Country for Old Men.”
