Biggest Anchor And Reporter Bloopers That Will Go Down In History

Note to Self: Don’t Report from The Bathroom

KCRA 3 anchor Melinda Meza thought it would be wise to do her day’s work in the bathroom — after all, her topic that fateful day in 2020 was about the hairstylists who demanded to go back to their work. Little did the reporter know that working from home, specifically in the bathroom, was a bad idea.

Meza didn’t think her idea through and failed to realize that the viewers could see the man without clothes in the shower. Many assumed that it was her husband, Mike de Lambert, but she nor the network addressed the issue.

Chilly Weather Even on The Set

Not everybody believes in what the weather forecaster says because there are many times when the predictions aren’t right. As such, not everybody loves this segment of the news, but when KRON 4’s meteorologist Jacqueline Bennett delivered the day’s update in October 2010, all eyes were on her.

While reporting about the chilly situation in the area, Bennett seemed to have forgotten about the bad combination of her white blouse and the dropping temperature that had left her top almost see-through! Nonetheless, this gaffe didn’t stop her from doing her job until she left the post in 2015.

Shimmering Dresses Aren’t The Viewers’ Cup of Tea

Remember KTLA’s Liberte Chan? She had been called out multiple times for her outfit choices. Another instance was when she was handed a cardigan in the middle of a report in 2016. Clueless, she asked her colleague what the topper was for on-air and the producer said that they had been receiving comments about her attire.

Many thought that Chan’s black shimmering dress wasn’t right for the weather forecast. Luckily, Chan wasn’t mad about the comments and even apologized for offending some people with what she was wearing. This sparked a debate among social media users who pointed out that a man wouldn’t be receiving the same treatment.
