Big Names From The Past Blessed With Long Lives: Check Out What They’re Up To Today!

Lorenzo Lamas – 1958

American actor Lorenzo Lamas may never shake off the identity of an irresponsible grandson, a role he played in the ’80s soap opera “Falcon Crest.” For that role, though, he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Series, Miniseries or Television Film.

In the 21st century, however, he became known for his role as Dr. Hollywood in the Nickelodeon TV show “Big Time Rush” and starred in his own reality TV show “Leave It to Lamas.” After enjoying relative success in the entertainment industry, Lamas pursued another interest—flying helicopters. Since 2016, he has been working as a pilot and now works with HeliNY in New York City.

 Paul Hogan – 1939

Paul Hogan has millions in the bank thanks to his hard work as an actor. His breakthrough role was in the film called Crocodile Dundee, and he also worked on the movie’s story and screenplay. His performance earned him the Best Actor award at the Golden Globe Awards.

Hogan’s co-star in the film was Linda Kozlowski, and they ended up getting married in 1990. Sadly, they ended their marriage in 2014. Hogan never landed another iconic role, but it was okay because he had more installments to work on for the Crocodile Dundee franchise. He most recently starred in The Very Excellent Mr. Dundee in 2020.

Tim Matheson – 1947

You might’ve first noticed actor Tim Matheson when he starred in National Lampoon’s Animal House. He then gained even more fame once he joined the cast of The West Wing. His performance in the series got him nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards.

Matheson didn’t only do on-screen work, for he also generated earnings from voice acting. He was the lead voice actor in the show called Jonny Quest. Today, he isn’t turning his back on his acting career yet, and his last acting performance was on an episode of This Is Us in 2021.
