Marlo Thomas – 1937
Marlo Thomas is mainly known for her role as Ann Marie in the TV series “That Girl” and “Free to Be…You & Me,” which was an entertainment project for children. But she’s also appeared in movies such as “The Female Brain” and the 2018 film “Ocean’s Eight.”
The 2006 Grammy Award winner has worn the executive producer hat in movies like “Leap of Faith,” “Taken Away,” and “Deceit.” Outside of acting and producing, she’s a social activist and the National Outreach Director for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital for cancer research. In 2022, Marlo appeared in the adventurous holiday film “A Magical Christmas Village.”
Tippi Hedren – 1930
Tippi Hedren started as a model, and people discovered who she was when she appeared in the magazine Glamour and Life. She later decided to try her luck in Hollywood as well, and her breakthrough performance came in The Birds, which won her a Golden Globe.

Hedren’s other notable roles were in films like Marnie, Citizen Ruth, and I Heart Huckabees. She doesn’t take on that many projects anymore, but she still gets to act from time to time. Her IMDb page says she will appear in a new movie called Unforgettable.
Emil Minty – 1972
Many of you might not recognize Emil Minty because he was only famous in the acting scene when he was a young boy. He appeared in Mad Max 2: The Road Warrior, and even if he didn’t say any lines, you could easily remember him because of his movie costume as a feral child.

Despite his early start in Hollywood, he decided to stop acting and finish his education. He then became a jeweler and raised two children. Minty didn’t completely close his doors to show business, though, for he did voice work for a video game titled Wasteland 3 in 2020.
Chris Evert Lloyd – 1954
Chris Evert was the best female tennis player globally at one point. She had eighteen Grand Slam wins in her career and was World No. 1 for five consecutive years, logging 260 weeks at the top of the rankings. She eventually became the Women’s Tennis Association’s President and made it into the International Tennis Hall of Fame.

Evert remained busy even after retirement because she became an ESPN analyst and put up the Evert Tennis Academy. She also collaborated with Tail Activewear and released a clothing line called Chrissie by Tail.
Cheryl Ladd – 1951
Cheryl Ladd became a household name in the late ’70s after joining the cast of Charlie’s Angels. She wasn’t part of the show’s first season since she only joined at the beginning of the second season as a replacement for Farrah Fawcett-Majors.

After the show ended in the early ’80s, she became known for her performances in movies like Permanent Midnight, Poison Ivy, and Purple Hearts. There’s no doubt that she’s lucky in the anti-aging department because she looks flawless at 69 years old. In 2020, Ladd appeared in the TV film called Christmas Unwrapped.
