Richard Gere – 1949

Right from his childhood, Richard Gere had always taken the spotlight. He was the kid that composed music for his high school and won gymnastics championships. He went into acting and bagged his first major role in the movie “Grease” in 1973. He reinforced himself in Hollywood with his attractive feature when he starred in ‘American Gigolo.’ In 1999, People magazine named him the Sexiest Man Alive.

As talented and hardworking as Gere is, he is also very adventurous. In 1978, he visited Nepal to spend time with different monks and lamas and eventually adopted Buddhism. He has won over 20 awards, and he recently appeared in a BBC series titled MotherFatherSon, in 2019.
