Big Names From The Past Blessed With Long Lives: Check Out What They’re Up To Today!

Tim Curry – 1946

The original horror “It” films featured Timothy Curry as the iconic clown, but he first became a household name as Dr. Frank-N-Furter in “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” movies. He boasts at least 40 credits under his name, but he suffered a massive problem in 2012 when he had a stroke. Because of this, Curry had to use a wheelchair, which may be why we rarely see him. He still does give us his stellar performances by lending his voice to characters, more prominently as Darth Sidious in “Star Wars: The Clone Wars.”

Robby Benson – 1956

Remember the 1977 sports movie “One on One?” Well, the hunky teen star Robby Benson is still around, and he’s made some bold moves in Hollywood ever since becoming famous. Still boasting a charming look, Benson has most famously portrayed the character of ‘Beast’ in the classic Disney animation “Beauty and the Beast.” He’s also appeared in the TV series “Disney Comics in Motion” and the 2022 video game “Disney Speedstorm.”

Apart from acting, Benson has also worked extensively as a director, and he even helped to give life to a few episodes of the hit sitcom “Friends!” In 1990, he directed and starred in “Modern Love.”

Tim Matheson – 1947

You might’ve first noticed actor Tim Matheson when he starred in National Lampoon’s Animal House. He then gained even more fame once he joined the cast of The West Wing. His performance in the series got him nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards.

Matheson didn’t only do on-screen work, for he also generated earnings from voice acting. He was the lead voice actor in the show called Jonny Quest. Today, he isn’t turning his back on his acting career yet, and his last acting performance was on an episode of This Is Us in 2021.
