Linda Evans – 1942
Norwegian-American Linda Evans has become a household name because of her many television appearances. She first gained attention in the ’60s because of her role as Audra Barkley on “The Big Valley,” a TV Western starring Barbara Stanwyck as Victoria Barkley.
In the ’80s ABC prime time television soap opera “Dynasty,” Evans starred as the long-suffering heroine Krystle Carrington from 1981 to 1989. She was a regular on this show for eight seasons and made cameos in films, including “The Last Frontier” and “Beach Blanket Bingo.” She received nominations for an Emmy and a Golden Globe in both 1981 and 1982.
