Dana Delany – 1956
From such a young age, Dana Delany knew she would pursue a career in acting. Indeed, after graduating, she began performing in theater before landing minor roles in a few TV shows. She gained acclaim after starring in the Broadway piece “A Life,” but it was her work in Nicholas Kazan’s “Bloodmoon” that became her stepping stone to stardom.
In 1988, Delany’s big break arrived when she landed the role of nurse Colleen McMurphy in the hit show “China Beach.” Despite many decades in Hollywood, she continues to enrich her portfolio, starring in “Desperate Housewives,” “Tombstone,” “A Time To Remember,” and “A Beautiful Life.”
