James Spader – 1960
Seeing James Spader’s face might not immediately ring a bell, but true Marvel Cinematic Universe fans would know that he was the voice behind the villain named Ultron. He has been a busy actor for decades, starring in The Mannequin and Stargate.
Spader also had a notable role in series called The Practice, and then he later gave a multi-awarded performance in its spin-off titled Boston Legal. Retirement planning isn’t his priority yet as of today, and you can currently catch him in the latest season of the show The Blacklist.
Scott Valentine – 1958
Scott Valentine is an American actor best known for playing Nick Moore in the ’80s NBC series “Family Ties.” His career has persisted for several decades since the ’80s, owing to his success on “Family Ties” that led to three separate spinoffs. Since that time, he has appeared as a guest actor in popular television series, including “JAG” and “CSI: NY.”

Since 2007, after appearing in the sci-fi film “Harpies,” we haven’t seen him in any other role both in TV and film. However, he seems to be doing well for himself, seeing as he got remarried in his hometown in 2021 and is now a partner at a boutique investment firm.
Harry Shearer – 1943
As of 2022, the legendary Harry Shearer has appeared in roughly 730 episodes of “The Simpsons,” a show in which he voices characters as iconic as ‘Ned Flanders,’ ‘Kent Brockman,’ or ‘Principal Skinner.’ A former “Saturday Night Live” star, he started his career as a child actor and was once a member of the radio comedy group The Incredible Gap.

With approximately 175 acting credits, this Hollywood veteran also appeared in a few Rob Reiner mockumentaries, including the hilarious 2003 comedy “A Mighty Wind” and the groundbreaking movie “This Is Spinal Tap.” As a writer, he worked on projects as acclaimed as “Real Life,” “Nixon’s the One,” and “The Simpsons.”
Richard Dreyfuss – 1947
Known as the youngest winner of the Oscars until 2003, a record he held for 25 years, Richard Dreyfuss is best known for his role in the 1975 massive box office hit, “Jaws.” He went on to appear in hits such as ” Close Encounter of the Third Kind” and “The Goodbye Girl,” for which he won the Oscar and Golden Globe Awards for Best Actor.

Dreyfuss makes no fuss about his age and continues to headline releases. He starred in the comedy film “The Last Laugh,” released on Netflix in 2019. He doesn’t seem to be slowing down at all!
Michael J. Fox – 1961
Everyone will forever remember actor Michael J. Fox for starring in the iconic Back to the Future franchise. However, people already knew him when he starred in the franchise’s first installment because of his role in the series called Family Ties. His other memorable performances were in Spin City, Teen Wolf, and The Frighteners.

In the late ’90s, Fox went public with his Parkinson’s disease diagnosis. He later put up the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help find a cure for the illness. He has been suffering from speech and memory issues in recent years, and it’s why he retired for good in 2020.
