SARAH PALIN – ARIZONA

Over 3,500 miles separate the state of Alaska from the state of Arizona, but distance didn’t prevent the former vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin from buying property away from home. She invested $1.75 million in a stunning 7,900-square-feet Arizona mansion and was able to sell for $2.2 million. Palin and her ex-husband Todd Palin were known to buy and sell properties through the investment firm Safari Investments.

Always controversial, Palin is still involved in the world of politics and often works as a pundit. Over the years, she appeared in over 70 shows and made two TV appearances in 2021: first in “Fox News Primetime” and then in “Gutfeld!”

Al Gore – California

As reported by Variety, Al Gore and his wife, Tipper Aitcheson, bought a place in California’s Montecito in late 2009 for around $8.875 million. It has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, over a 6,500-square-foot interior. The house is situated on a 1.5-acre lot. We’re not surprised to see him living in such luxury, knowing that he’s worth $300 million.

They are also said to own properties in Tennessee and Virginia, but this is clearly fit to be their main residence. Al and Tipper announced their separation soon after their purchase that year. They don’t seem to be in a rush, however, to become legally single.

Maxine Waters – Los Angeles

Especially since she became part of the House Financial Services Committee in 2019, all eyes have been on Maxine Waters. She’s 82 by now and worth around $2 million. Her most valuable asset is, without a doubt, the house she owns with her husband, Sid Williams, a former NFL Linebacker, to whom she’s been married since 1977.

They reportedly bought this place in 2004 for $2 million. At the moment, it should be valued anywhere between $1 and $4 million. It is a two-story building with an interior of around 6,081 square feet. It also has an imposing front yard with a beautiful lawn and large trees.
