They met on the set of the sitcom Bosom Buddies in 1981 but only started dating in 1985 after meeting again while filming Volunteer. Hanks was so in love that he even changed his religion, becoming Greek Orthodox. Hanks is currently filming an untitled film about Elvis Presley and will star as Gepetto in an upcoming Pinnochio film.
