In the WWE storyline of 2000, Triple H, then the leader of the faction known as D-Generation X, had kidnapped and drugged a young Stephanie McMahon. He then drove her to a vegas wedding booth and eloped with her, faking her I dos. That’s how they became husband and wife.

Only that’s not how it happened. Because they only got married in 2003 in Sleepy Hollow, New York. They have three daughters together and are still active in the company. Triple H, real name Paul Michael Levesque, is Executive Vice President of Global Talent Strategy & Development, while Stephanie is the chief brand officer.
