Dick Van Dyke first became successful as a Broadway and radio star. He then achieved mainstream stardom in the ’60s when he starred in The Dick Van Dyke Show. On the big screen, his most notable performances were in Mary Poppins and Bye Bye Birdie.
Van Dyke used to love drinking alcohol and smoking, but he later overcame his vices, and it’s most probably why he’s still alive and well at 95 years old. He’s still open to taking on new acting gigs, and sources say he’s part of an upcoming film titled Capture the Flag.
