Bobby Sherman – Born in 1943
Robert Cabot Sherman Jr., popularly known as Bobby Sherman, is an American singer, actor, and songwriter. In the ’60s and ’70s, he was a teen idol, releasing successful singles like “Little Woman.” Sherman has released over a hundred songs throughout his singing career and earned seven gold singles and five albums of the same standard, and one platinum single.
In the ’70s, he took a step back from the spotlight, opting to become an EMT, volunteering at the Los Angeles Police Department. He started a foundation whose mission is to provide students in Ghana with a high-quality teaching and music program, and he remains committed to it.
