Tina Turner – 1939
Tina Turner’s initial success in the music scene happened when she collaborated with her then-husband, Ike Turner. They had hit singles like A Fool in Love and Proud Mary. After their divorce in 1978, she pursued a solo career in the ’80s and experienced even more success.
Her album titled Private Dancer reached multi-platinum, and she released massive hits like What’s Love Got to Do with It and Better Be Good to Me. Turner hasn’t released a new album since her 1999 album called Twenty Four Seven. In 2021, she got inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for the second time.
