Asides from being a fun-loving and incredible actor with a magnetic stage presence, there was always an extra touch of something special about Will Ferrell. We didn’t know just what exactly it was until now.
It turns out Ferrell was not just a soccer fan but a full-fledged player on the pitch when he was younger. Although he later went into the film industry, where he starred in the 2022 musical comedy “Spirited” with fellow A-lister Ryan Reynold, the sporting spirit lived on. So much so that in 2016, Ferrell purchased a stake in Major League Soccer side Los Angeles FC.
