Leif Garrett – 1961
Although some people may not know of actor and musician Leif Garrett, he used to be a teen idol in the ’70s. He recorded his self-titled debut album when he was only 16 and has released eight studio albums and counting in his career.
Leif’s autobiography, “Idol Truth,” was published in 2019. Among other things, it discussed how the record label had Jim Haas’s voice replace Leif’s vocals in his own albums. Besides the long-running career in music, the “Come Back When You Grow Up” singer has also acted in numerous films and TV shows, including the ’70s “Walking Tall” movies.
